RIP PHIL
Our Meols Hall day was marred this year with the passing of our dear friend and customer Phil Watson (fondly known as Number A043) a couple of days earlier. Phil had been joining us each year with his Wife Carole and dog 'Bracken' despite having had pancreatic cancer for the past three years.
Phil had taken delivery of his Longthorne, a Hesketh with his doggie 'Bracken' engraved on the underside in March 2014 after having waited patiently from June 2013 when came to visit us at our original disevelled workshop in Lancashire, despite this Phil ordered his gun, he was an absolute pleasure to know, a countryman through and through and an inspiration, living every day to the full despite the limitations his illness tried to place on him.
'Bracken' was Chloe's first doggie portrait and those of you who have visited the Longthorne Clients lounge will have seen the portrait in pride of place on the wall. Whereas Phil on the other hand adorns our last brochure. We will miss you very much Phil.
We look forward to seeing Phil and Carole's son Matt at future shoots carrying on Phil's legacy.
