Update on Powis Castle Longthorne Day
Many thanks to all those who attended our first Longthorne Shoot and The Powis Castle Syndicate who suggested holding the day, in particlular 'Longthorne' owner and Powis Syndicate Shoot Captain David Edwards and his lovely wife Pam, not forgetting Rose and Peter who helped tremendously.  

This 244 bird day was a bit of an experiment for Longthorne but an overwhelming success.    Such was the demand that all places for this shoot were filled before we were even able to formerly publicised it, but based on how successful the day was we plan to do more similar events next season.  The day concluded with a buffet lunch and Pol Roger champagne (and of course Dave Edward's Sloe gin)at the Powis Castle Lodge.

We will be publishing a small video of the event in coming days.

If any of our Longthorne owners would like to suggest similar venues for next year we would welcome your input.
