Longthorne Delighted to sponsor Jack Halsall
Jack started shooting from a very young age, he was six years old and received a Coey 410 shotgun for Christmas.  He shot his first cartridge at a local shoot and was instantly ‘hooked’. He continued to shoot several different disciplines weekly with his father . With some encouragement from a locally renowned DTL coach Jack continued to progress and improve his scores and entered his first competition  in 2010 at 14 where he did really well which further motivated him. 2012 to 2015 Jack was in the top 10 English DTL juniors and in 2015 shot  his straight 100 first selection shot which secured him a place to shoot for England with the home International and European Championships in DTL.  In August 2015  he achieved a gold medal in France. Jack has now taken on the challenge of Olympic Trap and is keen to represent England again  at the Olympics and bring home a gold medal. We have every faith in his ability and determination and look forward to watching him progress .
