John Robinson Shooting Instructor North Yorkshire UK - John Robinson, a keen Longthorne advocate and soon to be owner, is a CPSA Coach and ISSF A Licence International Coach with extensive experience across all shooting disciplines. He served as Head Coach for the England Team at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, guiding athletes from novice to international level. John provides coaching for complete beginners through to elite competitors, offering discipline-specific and developmental training tailored to each shooter’s needs.

Operating from his independent shooting school, South pennine Shooting School on the Yorkshire–Lancashire border, he provides tailored coaching for everyone from complete beginners to experienced competitors. Holding CPSA Level 1 Instructor, Level 2 Coach (Sporting, Skeet, Trap), Level 3 Senior Coach, and Senior Course Tutor and Assessor qualifications, Jason covers all major disciplines, Sporting, Skeet, Trap, and Game, helping each shooter progress confidently within their chosen field.
Steph Trill Shooting Instructor East Sussex UK - Steph is a CPSA-qualified shooting instructor based in East Sussex, offering professional yet approachable coaching for all abilities. Steph, a long standing Longthorne owner teaches mainly at Mill Farm Shooting Ground near Eastbourne, and occasionally at Willow Farm near Tenterden. Whether you’re completely new to shooting or looking to build confidence and improve your skills, she is happy to help you get the most out of your shooting journey. Steph particularly enjoys introducing newcomers to the sport, especially women and left-handed shooters, who can sometimes find it tricky to get the right setup and support.
